On August 29th 2017 began the renovation construction of two schools in Aveiro, the Basic School of the 2nd and 3rd cycle João Afonso in Aveiro, and the Secondary School Dr. Jaime Magalhães Lima in Esgueira, in a total investment of around 2.600.000,00 € promoted by the Municipality of Aveiro under the “Portugal 2020” financing program. These constructions, which are promoted by
Aveiro Municipal Council under the motto “raising the qualification of young people and adults reinforcing the quality of education and training”, have as main objective the improvement of quality and education conditions, providing students with a better thermal comfort and a modern atmosphere.
